Umpires fail to spot Ishant Sharma's no-balls

The on-field umpires’ role has come under scrutiny after it was revealed during Sunday’s live telecast of the Australia versus India opening Test here that pacer Ishant Sharma had overstepped on several occasions — sometimes by several inches — that on-field umpires Nigel Llong and Kumar Dharmasena failed to spot or call.
